constans chainrings.

CONSTANS – (Latin) constant, unchanging

Oval chainrings are designed to help transfer the leg power and improve traction in hard terrain conditions.

In the “dead zone”, where the cyclist generates the least amount power, the diameter of an oval chainring is smaller. However the diameter is greater within the ‘power zone’ where the maximum power is generated.

This equalizes power transfer to the wheels during cycling resulting in better traction.

Our oval chainring CONSTANS 34t received a Gold Medal award at Kielce Bike Expo 2015 (category: polish product).
